I always loved to organize and keep a tidy room. When my environment is orderly and I am able to find things easily, I always feel a peace and a freedom.
What was really eye-opening to me was when I would go to friends' homes that were disorganized and messy and I'd watch that friend running around in a panic, not being able to find things and also being perpetually tardy to appointments. The stress on those friends was unbearable to watch so I began offering my organizational services to them. After seeing the stress relief and the freedom an organized environment gave them, Clutter Free-dom was inspired. It is my desire to help adults and children reach their maximum potential by creating an environment to foster this freedom.
Harvard Grad Turned Professional Organizer
Harvard Graduate School of Education: M.Ed., International Education
Lehman College: M.Ed., Reading Education
Cornell University: B.S., Human Development and Family Studies
As a certified elementary and reading teacher I taught at the United Nations International School before taking my administrative and organizational skills to Yo-Yo Ma's non-profit organization, The Silk Road Project. My strengths have always been in teaching, administration and organization, which I've used in academic, corporate and retail organizations before using these skills at Clutter Free-dom.
Born in Korea, my family immigrated to the United States when I was young. My serial entrepreneur parents started and sold many small businesses with hard work and little language abilities. As in most immigrant families, from an early age, I was always required to work alongside my parents in all family pursuits, which I credit as giving me a strong work ethic and a standard of excellence.
I have always had a desire to help people. My heart to serve can be seen in the many volunteer activities I've enjoyed :
Hospital candy striper
Assistant teacher to mentally challenged adults
Assistant carpenter to restore medieval castles in France
Administrator at hospital in Haiti
Assistant at orphanage in Haiti
Teacher and administrator at children's camp in Kazakhstan
Administrator at local church food pantry
It is truly my desire to see you, your family and/or your child become clutter free and experience the freedom that follows..

For God is not a God of disorder but of peace... (1 Corinthians 14:33)
I recognize Jesus as the author of all my success and give thanks to Him daily. I start and end each assignment with prayer. I also pray for wisdom throughout all projects and pray for the person and families I work with.
